Gardening in South Texas can be challenging.  Doing things at the right time can mean the difference between success and failure. Example: Planting tomatoes too early or too late will result in either frostbite foliage or dropping of blooms due to heat stress.There is an optimum 8 week planting period from the last week in February thru mid April.  Here are some suggestions of what to do each month in the yard and garden:
