I love that Rainbow always has such a wide range of roses! My favorites are the ones that have the strongest scents! Rainbow has been my go to place for all my herbs AND roses for the past 30 years!

My favorite thing about roses is they don’t freeze. My favorite color is yellow (and I don’t have one!). Rainbow Gardens is truly the best nursery in San Antonio. No one can outdo the varieties of flowers and herbs. Such a fun place to go! 😍

Enjoy them! Remember they were bare root roses so take care when removing them from the plastic growing container. We recommend cutting the bottom of the plastic pot, setting the rose in the hole, then cut the side of the pot to remove the rest of it. This keeps the roots from being overly disturbed.

I love yellow roses. I once had a bush that kept every room in our home beautiful and smelling wonderful for months. This bush was planted behind our house near the pool heater and in rocks. I decided it must need taking care of and began to feed it and treat it for bugs (it had none). It then got bugs and got sick. I cut it off at the ground and the next year it and my beautiful yellow roses was back and supplying beautiful roses again. I left it alone, did not even water it. Wish I knew which rose it was, I would love another one.

You’ll have to make a rose journal or plant journal to keep tabs of all the names.

My favorite roses are knockout roses because they flower in abundance and are easy to grow in our harsh conditions. I like all roses though, for their beautiful flowers and scent.

Rainbow Gardens has been my go to for everything in the gardens, yard and outdoor decorating since we moved here 5 years ago to retire. I love gardening but it is much different than North Carolina gardening as the soil, temp and etc are different. They are very helpful at Rainbow gardens. Anything I ask them they have the answer for me. Thank you to all the staff for making it so easy to pick out plants for this ares that will do good. I just love the Knockout Rose! Fantastic!!!!
