Roses, Soil, Mulch, and BBQ, say what?

Garden-Ville and Roses, a Match Made in Heaven!

March 31st is going to be one fabulous day at Rainbow Gardens! We’ve got some amazing events lined up for you. We’ll start the day at both of our locations at 10AM with an informative and free seminar, “How to Grow Roses.” Certified rosarians with the San Antonio Rose Society, will be enlightening us on the ins and outs of growing these beautiful flowers. From the basic to the advanced, our experts will answer all your rose questions. We’ll be raffling off one of our rose bushes ($24.99 value) at each of our locations to a lucky seminar attendee.

Just want to pop in and ask a few questions while browsing our fantastic rose collection? We’ve got you covered for that this weekend too. From 10AM – 2PM, members of the San Antonio Rose Society will be in OUR rose gardens, at Rainbow Gardens, both locations. Come pick from our fantastic selection of new rose varieties (and your favorites too), while gathering up tips for growing roses from one of the SARS members who will be on hand. They absolutely love sharing their knowledge to help you fall in love with growing roses as much as they do.

Planting Tips For South Texas

From 12PM to 2PM, at our Bandera location only, we are so excited be hosting a gardening seminar with David Rodriguez, who is the Horticulturist for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Bexar County, and Bill Rohde, the host on News Radio 1200 WOAI’s Saturday morning Lawn and Garden Show. The seminar will be covering ‘Planting Tips for South Texas Soil.’ And if you’ve gardened at all in South Texas, you sure know how we can all use any expert tips that we can get! You can also look forward to raffle drawings for our top-notch rose bushes and Garden-Ville Superior Soil, as well as Garden-Ville and WOAI radio station giveaways. While you’re here, you’ll also be treated to some great food from Two Brothers BBQ Market, while supplies last.

March 31st also marks the end of our Facebook Rose Give Away and our two-week long promotion of the 5 for $10 offer on Garden-Ville Hardwood Mulch (at both locations), so make sure to come in and stock up while you can. Garden-Ville’s line of mulches, composts, soil blends and amendments are superb additions to your landscape. Whether you’re looking to fortify your soil organically, or to beautify your landscapes with one of their mulches, Garden-Ville has you covered with top quality products. So come on out and enjoy a fun-filled, exciting, and informative day with Rainbow Gardens, Garden-Ville, and the San Antonio Rose Society.
