Job Description: We are looking for individually motivated people to assist in unloading, pricing, and putting away the large amounts of green goods Rainbow Gardens sustains in the spring season. These individuals must have a strong work ethic with desire for accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for unloading material from delivery trucks ranging from 4-inch flats to 15-gallon trees into the nursery.
- Accurately pricing and putting away inventory (with Green Good Manager’s guidance).
- Yard maintenance: Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers to shop in.
- Applicants should be able to stand for long periods of time, have full range of motion, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Job Description: We are looking for energetic, service-oriented individuals to make our customers feel welcome. As a cashier, you set the tone for our customers’ shopping experience at Rainbow Gardens. You’ll get to meet our customers, build relationships, and answer general questions about our store. Cashiers should be courteous, accurate, and efficient with their responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide superior customer service by looking for ways to go above and beyond for our customers. Greeting customers and answering the phone in a kind and prompt manner.
- Cash Handling: Collecting payment for purchases from customers, processing returns, and ensuring customer’s final interaction at Rainbow Gardens is pleasant.
- Stocking: Replenishing inventory in the store and keeping shelves full and organized.
- Store Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment within the store including sweeping, dusting, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows and keeping customer traffic areas clear of debris.
- Displays: Building displays for in-store selling initiatives and watering plants on display as needed.

Job Description: We are looking for knowledgeable and service-minded individuals to aid in solving customer’s gardening problems and help customers find merchandise in our 6-acre nursery. Customer Service Staff will have access to the largest Gardening Knowledge Base in San Antonio!
Responsibilities:
- In this role you’ll represent the Rainbow Gardens brand to new and loyal customers alike and face varying degrees of gardening and landscape design questions.
- Customer service representatives must bring a smile and good attitude to work each day and should have a passion for gardening.
- Additional responsibilities may include: creating planters, merchandising, stocking inventory, watering as needed, and standing for extended periods of time. Knowledge of common pests, plant care, stock location, and landscape design elements are a plus. Rainbow Gardens prides iteslef on providing customers with correct information.
