What should you plant this season:
Gardening in South Texas can be challenging. Doing things at the right time can mean the difference between success and failure. Example: Planting tomatoes too early or too late will result in either frostbit foliage or dropping of blooms due to heat stress. There is an optimum eight week planting period from the last week in February thru mid April, and again starting in late August through November. On this page, we’ll provide links with suggestions for what to do each month in your San Antonio gardens.
